Each table was asked to focus on just one of the three ‘areas of action’ identified by the Wellbeing and Health Partnership.

    • Tables 1 to 6 focused on “make sure people get high quality services they need”
    • Tables 7 to 12 focused on “improve the capacity of communities to identify and act on issues that impact on their own, and others, health and wellbeing”
    • Tables 13 to 17 focused on “address social determinants of health”

Participants used a ‘springboard’ tailored to their area of action to jointly develop a shared understanding of their allocated area of action.

    They discussed
    • What are the constraints and opportunities for developing this area of action?
    • What do we need to do differently in order to maximise the effectiveness of this area of action?
    • What resources do we need (including information and evidence) so that we can focus our energies in the right place and know we are making a difference?
