Welcome to 'Wellbeing for life', Newcastle!  ‘Wellbeing for life’ is more than a website, it is the ambition of a wide range of partners working together in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

It is an exciting time for partnership working for wellbeing and health in Newcastle.  We have now established a new Wellbeing for Life Board, led by elected members.  The partners on the Wellbeing for Life Board have committed to work together through a single policy approach, called the Newcastle Future Needs Assessment and have produced the city's first Wellbeing for Life strategy.  We are now in the process of putting arrangements in place to drive forward the ambitious changes.

This most recent development, prompted by requirements in the Health and Social Care Act 2012, builds on a long history of partnership working for wellbeing and health in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK and will help us to take a step-change in our collective ability to improve wellbeing and health for all people in the city.

In the meantime, you’ll find that the website is a little mixed – some of the old and some of the new.  But we still hope that you’ll still find it a useful way of finding out about our work.
