We are responsible for providing strategic leadership to improve the wellbeing of older people and to address the challenges and opportunities of an ageing population.
We are working to develop a shared understanding of local need in relation to older people, drawing on statistical information, research and stakeholder feedback. We are responsible for developing the older people’s section of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment.
We are responsible for the implementation of Newcastle’s Older People’s Strategy – Everyone’s Tomorrow.
